Tour Day: A case on a autumn sunny day
From here, it’s an example for guests to choose a local route around Shibuya and Shinjuku.
Capturing Tokyo’s bustle and hustle
We briefly stopped at a railroad crossing to watch two trains arrive simultaneously. This is becoming a new tourist spot symbolizing the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.
A local shrine that bike tours could reach
We visited a local shrine. This is tucked away from the main street and there is no large car parking lot. Only bike tours can easily reach this off-the-beaten spot.
We did it! We hiked to the summit of mini-Mt. Fuji in the shrine.
Olympic legacy
There is no explanation about five rings. We took photos and shared the situation of Tokyo Olympics related to Covid-19, too.
We sometimes share global issues, like COVID-19, and can discuss similarities and differences while relaxing during the tour. This is another benefit of the private tours. I like to chat this way!
Cycle through the forest
One of the most memorable moments on the bike tour is surely to cycle through the forests, enjoying the breeze! This spot is covered with lots of green and it’s nice to pass through, especially on such a blue-sky day!
Shibuya
Next, we headed for Shibuya, but today, we didn’t go to the famous junction.
The guests already visited the junction so we agreed not to go there again. This flexibility and time efficiency is the benefit of the private bike tour.
Instead, our destination in Shibuya is an old Japanese house. This over-100-year-old wooden architecture is very rare in Tokyo. We stopped our bikes outside and enjoyed a round trip of the Japanese garden and the observation of the house.
Coffee Break
Next, we decided to take a break at a charming local cafe known for its delicious gluten-free treats and cozy atmosphere. Sipping on a latte and chatting about our day, we soaked up the relaxed vibe of the neighborhood.
We Made It!
Everything has an ending. Such a lovely moment on a bike came to the home stretch.
Before reaching the guests’ hotel, we had lots of slopes, going ups and downs. Yet, e-bikes made our trip easier and more comfortable.
We arrived back at the hotel, filled with wonderful memories. But at the same time, now is the time to say good-bye. It’s very sad, but we hope we will see them again.
Epilogue (Review from the guests)
A few days later, we received a feedback from the guests. It reminds us of such a lovely moment. Here is a quote.
I recently had the pleasure of taking a guided e-bike tour through Tokyo with my son, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Kazuma, was nothing short of fantastic. His knowledge of the city’s history and culture enriched our experience, making every stop along the way engaging and informative.
The day was perfect for biking, and we had the chance to explore so many beautiful locations, including a serene local shrine, the impressive national stadium, and a relaxing ride through Yoyogi Park. Riding through the charming streets of Tokyo allowed us to see the city from a unique perspective, away from the typical tourist spots.
Kazuma not only kept us safe but also created a warm and friendly atmosphere that made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. This tour will always hold a special place in our memories, and I can’t wait to return to Tokyo with more family members. Without a doubt, I would book another tour with Kazuma!
If you’re considering an e-bike tour in Tokyo, look no further—this is the one to choose!
