Kazuma, a talented, thoughtful and proficient English teacher guided the two of us on a personalized e-bike tour across the hidden streets of Tokyo. He arranged to meet us at our hotel, provided top rated comfortable e-bikes and emphasized safety in teaching us to use these well designed bikes. We visited an out of the way, non-touristed, local fish market, enjoyed the freshest sashimi of our lives in an intimate diner where we watched the master chef prepare our meal, visited a largest Tokyo castle grounds and major shrine. Kazuma provided ample history behind each site and as a native of Tokyo, provided insight into the pros and cons of urban development/ including renovation of his childhood home. We could see feel, see and taste this amazing city made quite personal by Kazuma and his careful choice of side streets for our journey. He tailored the tour to our interests, answered hundreds of our queries, extended our tour for a modest fee, and most of all, shared his love of this amazing city! There are not enough words to express our deep appreciation for Kazuma’s Tokyo Bike Bliss Tours. In a single ride, he opened our eyes and hearts…

I can’t say enough about the experience we had! From the moment I booked I had a personal email touching base with me and letting me know that Kazuma was excited to be working with us & to send over my trip details so he can have all the correct information for us, in fact he had check in points. Kazuma went above and beyond to make sure that we had the most amazing experience! In fact he rearranged his schedule to accommodate us (who does this)! You would be beyond lucky to have him as your guide, he is so helpful, makes you feel safe and comfortable on your bike. Takes you to excellent areas and gives you the opportunity to see and experience Tokyo through so many unique ways! It was truly amazing! This was an amazing tour. The communication was perfect from start to finish. The bike tour covered the most fantastic parts of Tokyo, both old and new that we would have never been able to see on a walking tour or in a vehicle. This was a tour that we could’ve only seen from the vantage point of a bike. We also had the opportunity to see gardens and parks that we would have never seen any other way!! kazuma put his heart and soul into sharing facts and history about Tokyo all while keeping us perfectly safe. I would absolutely book this again and would recommend highly for anyone wanting a unique view of Tokyo!!!

Dear Kazuma san – many thanks again for your hospitality and exceptional guidance on our Private E-Bike Tour today in Tokyo. Our prep for the tour had started well ahead while we were still in France planning our trip to Japan. Your early suggestions for the choice of route were spot-on. Also, starting the tour right from our Hotel was great. Your very first remarks before start were about the Safety Guidelines: this is something close to my chest as this is also how I used to behave coming from an Industry that primary focus was Safety FIRST. As for the Tour itself, our experience was just amazing. Visiting Tokyo on a bike and on a (lucky) sunny day was just exceptional. Moving away from the crowds of Shibuya or Shinjuku so as to cycle thru the modern city and business district, to then transition to the older districts of Tokyo was simply smart and offered great contrast. We stopped at humble yet amazing quality/tiny shops for a coffee break or mochi experience. What incredible bike tours of Tokyo!! My wife and I took one tour 1 week ago with Kazuma, and it was so much fun that we immediately signed up for another one he offers in the north of the city. In both tours, Kazuma offered expert guidance and historical explanations of the city, and Japanese culture. He is very engaging and fun to bike with, it was truly some of the best time we’ve had in Japan. We stopped for coffee both times, enjoyed thoughtful conversations with Kazuma, and saw wide varieties of the life and times of people and places in Tokyo. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a tour, you will not regret it.

Die Tour mit Herrn Kazuma war ausgesprochen nett, genau im richtigen Tempo und hat sehr viel Spass gemacht! Herr Kazuma ist ein umsichtiger Führer, der sehr auf die Wünsche seiner Gäste eingeht. We had an amazing time touring Tokyo with Kazuma as our private guide! He picked the two of us up at our hotel and we started our tour there, which was REALLY convenient for us, since we didn’t know how to easily get around the city. He found out ahead of time what kind of things we were interested in seeing and doing, and so customized the journey to our likes ahead of time. Kazuma was very knowledgeable about the sights he took us to see, and we were able to learn about the Japanese history and culture first hand from someone who is passionate about sharing the information with others in a way that was fun.
The e-bikes were easy to use and felt very safe while riding them. I was first concerned about riding a bike in with Tokyo traffic, but it was really a non-issue at all. So many people use the transit systems, that there isn’t the automotive congestion that many cities have.
We enjoyed our trip so much that we actually booked another trip that took us out into the countryside! We live quite rural and wanted to see what living in rural Japan was like, too. No problem! Kazuma put together a ride through agricultural areas, along scenic rivers, stopped for lunch in a small town where they have a nice farmers market, saw temples and shrines, and ended up out at Tokyo Bay just prior to dropping off our bikes to head back to our hotel.
We enjoyed 2 glorious days with Kazuma as our guide, in and around Tokyo and can’t think of any other way that we would’ve wanted to experience it.

We had the best day with Kazuma! A highlight of our trip for sure. He tailored the tour for us and we saw things we never would have without him. We covered so much territory. We stopped at a neighborhood shrine to avoid the crowds and he explained the rituals. I even asked if we could book another tour!! One tour was just not enough! He also took tons of photos. The whole process was effortless. I wish I had booked multiple tours with him. Kazuma is an absolute gem.

Our bike tour with Kazuma-san was amazing! We learned so much and saw parts of Tokyo that I haven’t visited in my 2 years as a resident. It was an especially beautiful tour by the river because we enjoyed a day of peak Sakura blossoms.

This E-Bike Tour was absolutely amazing… and the guide was fantastic! I 100% recommend this tour. As someone who does a bike tour in every place I visit, this was hands down one of the best. When I come back to Tokyo, I will absolutely sign up to take this tour again. Many thanks to my guide who was flexible and accommodated my wish to stop at a chocolate shop. From the initial contact with Kazuma-san through to the end of the bike tour, the personalized service was impeccable. Nothing beats door to door service from/to your hotel. Kazuma-san responded very quickly to a prior day request for two groups of 4pp and 5pp. The e-bikes were extremely easy, comfortable and efficient to use to zip all around Tokyo. He provided a number of interesting facts at various locations and now we understand why there are so few litter bins around Tokyo! We truly enjoyed every single stop with his explanations, and this trip today was even more special with the New Year’s celebrations at the shrines & temples. And we also were lucky to catch one cherry blossom tree! We felt very safe zipping around town as the Japanese people are so courteous and kind to bikers. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting as it’s a fantastic way to see several sights with a private guide.
