My boyfriend and I had a great experience on our bike tour of Tokyo with Kazuma Naoi. It was really convenient that he picked us up directly from our hotel with the bikes, so we didn’t have to meet anywhere beforehand.

Kazuma was very flexible with the tour and let us decide what we wanted to see, while also showing us places we wouldn’t have found on our own. We got to see a lot of Tokyo in a few hours, including an older local neighborhood with traditional Japanese homes from different time periods. He was also happy to stop for coffee or a snack whenever we wanted.

Kazuma knows Tokyo very well and gave us a lot of helpful recommendations for the rest of our trip. He also took photos of us throughout the tour with his camera and sent them to us afterward at no extra charge, which was a really nice bonus.

We told him we were going to the fish market after the tour, and he even changed our drop-off location so he could take us there directly. Overall, it was a really fun and convenient way to see Tokyo, especially since we were only in the city for a short time. We would definitely recommend Kazuma!

Kazuma san is the most professional, most organized, diligent, courteous, kind, and knowledgeable bike tour guide our family has experienced. We have done bike tours from Edinburgh to Budapest, and Kazuma is the best tour guide we have ever been paired with. The time spent with Kazuma was the best three hours of our Tokyo adventure. He was attentive from the time we first contacted him by email. A great first morning in Tokyo with Kazuma-san! In addition to the various popular sites (Tokyo tower, imperial palace) we also had the opportunity to spend time in old tokyo. We were able to get a lay of the land as well as some cultural and historical information. The ebikes do most of the work for you.

Our private 3 hour bike tour of Tokyo was amazing with our guide Kazuma! He is enthusiastic about his city and took us to well-known Tokyo highlights, as well as many lesser known gems we would’ve never found on our own. Riding an E bike through the city was so much faster than walking or taking a bus. We saw over 15 different spots! And it was very fun and safe. My family agrees this was our favorite tour we did in our entire three week vacation to Japan. I especially enjoyed the optional soy sauce tasting at the end of our tour. Kazuma took pictures with his camera of our group the entire time and sent them to us after our tour. This was an unexpected surprise! Would highly recommend for anyone…this tour was amazing!!

In overleg hebben we een route gekozen en wij kozen voor de wat langere, minder toeristische route. Tijdens de tour was Kazuma heel erg zorgzaam en zorgde voor veiligheid op de weg en voldoende drinkpauzes (het was ruim 35 graden). Today was our first full day in Tokyo and this was by far the best introduction to the city that we could ask for. Kazuma was an incredible tour guide- kind, knowledgeable, fun, and spoke great English. His bikes were comfortable and well-maintained.

We saw a TON of sites, rode through neighborhoods and city streets, stopped for sweet treats and later ice cream at a cute little local shop. Kazuma was absolutely willing to customize our experience and you could tell that he truly loved sharing his city with visitors.

The last time we were in Tokyo (2016) we did a bike tour (normal pedal bikes) with a much larger group. While we enjoyed that experience, I can tell you that there is no comparison between that and this smaller private tour. We covered so much more ground on the e bikes, and we got every question answered because it was just the four of us. Our sons (ages 13 and 16) commented several times about how much fun they were having.

Two thumbs up. Highly, highly recommend! Don’t miss the opportunity to tour with Kazuma when you visit Tokyo!

We had an incredible time on this E-bike tour. The electric bikes were high quality and very easy to handle, even for our 11 year old son, who absolutely loved the experience. We really appreciated that the itinerary went beyond the standard"tourist-only"areas; seeing the local side of Tokyo, where people actually live.Brilliant guide took us through charming local neighborhoods where we got a genuine glimpse into the daily life of Tokyo residents. It was fascinating to learn so much about local culture, including details about Japanese school children’s schedules and neighborhood customs, things you would never experience on a tour bus! Of course, we still hit the iconic spots like the famous tower and the Imperial Palace, making it the perfect balance of sightseeing and cultural immersion. Our guide was fantastic, very friendly, and shared so much insightful information. If you are looking for a family-friendly activity that shows you a side of Tokyo most tourists miss, this is it!

Kazuma met my wife and me in the lobby of our hotel with fantastic E-Bikes that were both nimble and with more than enough power to push up any hills that we encountered on our morning tour. Kazuma's English is flawless (he taught English in the Japanese schools for many years).

Our 3 hour tour was perfect to see parts of Tokyo that we otherwise would have never been able to get to, and the pace was just right for both my wife and me. We stopped for coffee, explored the outskirts of the Tokyo Imperial Palace and a beautiful garden and were able to ride into one of the oldest surviving neighborhoods on a small island that no other tour group could access.

Kazuma stressed safety as his number one priority, and we never had any issues with traffic, cars or anything that might be a challenge, due to his knowledge of Tokyo's streets and byways.

My wife and I would highly recommend Kazuma and Tokyo Bike Bliss for anyone looking for a one-off curated tour. It was truly special.

We spent a magical morning with Kazuma! He offered us a customized tour based on our interests and on his life story. We did a private e-bike tour in Tokyo with Kazuma and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. We were traveling with three kids (ages 10–13), and he was absolutely amazing with them. Patient, kind, engaging, and somehow kept everyone interested the whole time.

The pace was perfect. In just 3 hours we covered so much. He took us through quiet local neighborhoods, small streets, and beautiful riverside paths we would never have found on our own. We stopped at incredible little shops, tried local snacks, and saw a completely different side of Tokyo.

Kazuma made the whole experience feel special, and genuinely local.

If you’re visiting Tokyo, don’t skip this. It’s one of the best ways to experience the city.

We had an absolutely fantastic family bike ride with Kazuma-san in April 2026. It was our first full day in Tokyo and it was a great way to combat the jet lag. We did the bike route from Shinjuku to the Imperial gardens taking in numerous sights on the way such as Yoyogi and the National Stadium. Kazuma san is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional and we felt we were in safe hands even while riding on busy Tokyo streets. The bikes are very user-friendly for adults and children alike. It was a great way to see and experience a large area of the city and the 3 hour time frame was perfect. Kazuma san is extremely flexible and happy to tailor the tour to individual preferences and he also went over the 3 hour time a lot as there were some sights he wanted to show the kids. I highly recommend this bike tour as a way to see the city after arrival.

Absolutely fantastic morning on our bikes with Kazuma! He is so organised, gives you detailed updates and instructions and had three beautiful and new ebikes as well as helmets ready for us. We opted for a private 3 hour tour and my son who is 10 years old enjoyed it so much. The bike fits a small child with a height of 133cm. I wouldn’t recommend it for any smaller kids. My husband is 186cm tall and the bike was a great fit. Kazuma selected a route of the beaten track avoiding main tourist areas and showing us the beauty of old and new Tokyo. We stopped at a local cafe which was super cute. He is a former English teacher and very knowledgeable. We all had an amazing time!

Kazuma was such an informative, friendly guide for our wonderful introductory tour of Tokyo! We biked with him the first day after we landed in Tokyo from central US, and it was a great way to work off the jet lag and understand the city better. He met us in the lobby of our hotel (Shiba Park Hotel, also highly recommended), and after a short introduction and orientation to the e-bikes we were off. We biked on mostly quieter back streets, pausing at multiple spots so we could take pictures and learn about the neighborhood or about the significance of the site. We had communicated with him weeks in advance (via WhatsApp) about our preferences and also to extend our tour to 4 hours instead of his usual 3 hours, which we’re so glad we did. Even during the tour he was modifying our route to go to some more “hidden gems” for us. He took many pictures of us with his camera that he shared with us later that day. He took us to a shrine and instructed us on the proper way to visit the shrine. He took us to the Asakura House and provided us with a private explanatory tour of it. He guided us to Shibuya crossing and gave us time to cross it several times. We ended the tour at a local restaurant that he recommended for us as we had said that we wanted to try okonomiyaki. We can’t recommend his tour enough!! Thank you Kazuma-San for a wonderful experience!!

Highly recommended for any international travelers to Tokyo: we did 35km bike tour in 5 hrs in one sunny Sunday morning in March when Tokyo was still rather quiet enough to feel fresh air going on quieter roads, and to hear beautiful winds with beautiful smell of spring flowers. Kazuma made his fantastic routing idea and guided us through 30-40 spots throughout Tokyo, combined with all detailed explanations about history, politics, education system, religious believes, social issues, business, and other aspects of real lives of people in Tokyo/Japan. I used to live in Tokyo for many years yet this was extremely exciting and fulfilling experience that I enjoyed to the fullest. ENJOY!!

We did a half-day private tour with Tokyo Bike Bliss- and WOW—so good. We’d already done a tour earlier in the trip and didn’t want a repeat, but Kazuma (owner + guide) totally nailed it.

He customized everything to us and took us to spots we never would’ve found—like an original island community that felt completely off the tourist path. It was the kind of experience that makes you feel like you’re seeing the real Japan. We were met at our hotel with the bikes ready to go.

My husband and I did a private bike ride around Tokyo with Kazuma and had an amazing experience!!! He was kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable about all different things around the city. He will meet you at your hotel and brings the bikes to you so there is no hassle. The bikes are small, but very adjustable to accommodate all sizes and very comfortable.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on this cycling tour of Tokyo. Our guide, Kazuma, was excellent—friendly and attentive with great English language skills. He shared thoughtful insights into Japanese history and culture, was happy to answer our many questions about Japan and its people, and even explained how to show respect at temples and shrines, all of which really enhanced our experience.

The route began at our hotel and was well planned with a fun mix of major sights, backstreets of quiet neighborhoods, busy avenues and scenic paths through beautiful parks, and included stops where we briefly got off the bikes to explore further. One major highlight was the rare opportunity to tour the inside of a privately owned, old traditional Japanese home in a non-touristy part of Tokyo.

Kazuma’s pedal assisted bikes were in great condition and made it really easy to cycle for the 12+ miles we covered over 4+ hours. Before heading out, Kazuma explained the “rules of the road” for cyclists in Tokyo, and helped us adjust the bikes so they fit us well. Helmets were provided, and Kazuma made safety during the ride a priority.

We have done bike tours in almost 100 cities worldwide and this one was first-rate. Kazuma-san is a conscientious guide whose English is strong, knowledge of Tokyo and its backroads extensive, and bikes are clever.

He came to our hotel and had spotted a problem with our reservation before we did. His bikes are clever, 20-inch wheel bikes that adjust to fit almost anyone. They are hub-powered, derailleur-shifted e bikes with no power modulation, which makes the very easy to ride in Tokyo.

The tour was great, as we passed through neighborhoods, local temples, commercial and historical areas, and much more. Also, Kazuma took great photos and shared them with us

It's difficult to put into words how much our family enjoyed this experience with Kazuma. From reaching out to me soon after booking to introduce himself and answer any questions that I had, to being an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful tour guide. It's very clear that Kazuma strives to ensure that his customers get the most out of their experience. We are a family of four with an 11 year old and a 13 year old and biked from Shinjuku to the Imperial Palace and back stopping at many different landmarks along the way. It's such an incredible way to see a city as diverse and historic as Tokyo while covering a lot of ground in a relatively short period of time. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone young or old: Kazuma deserves a 5+ rating!

Wow. That was a blast. Never ridden an E-bike before. Takes 95% of the peddling effort away. Straight up hills without effort. Wife and I did scooters in Vietnam to see more of the outskirts of the cities. In Tokyo we found Kazuma and a private intermit e-bike tour. He asked us if we wanted to see anything specific and the 3 hours of traveling along roads seeing many many highlights was amazing. The Imperial Palace was the final destination. And what a view of traditional and new. The Palace next to you the CBD just over the gardens. I had an amazing tour with my friends, the guide first of all asked us what we already visited so that we will discover new beautiful places and explained us a lot all along the tour about what we can see and about the history behind it, and always in a funny and interesting way! He made sure we always stay safe with the traffic and checked if we needed a break or not. He has answers to all the questions and knew how to surprise us with unexpected little things like entering an old traditional Japanese house or taking food in a local "hidden" bakery. Also he took photos every time we were in nice places and even sometimes while we were riding so that we will remember the nice time we had Hundred percent recommended!!

Our 3-hour e-bike tour with Kazuma was a brilliant way to get a feel for Tokyo. It gave us a sense of the city’s defining sights and how they all fit together in a way you simply can’t get from walking or public tours. Kazuma was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, flexible, and attentive. He adapted the itinerary so we could explore places that caught our interest along the way, which made the experience feel very personal.

If you have ever taken a guided tour, you know that the tour guide makes all of the difference. Kazuma-san did an impeccable job! From the pre-trip communication and choice of route, to the equipment to the safety on the tour, it was all unbeatable. We saw over 15 sites in our 3 hours, and it was just the right mix of old and contemporary Tokyo, with history shared at each of our stops. If you are worried about communication, don't. Kazuma-san's English (and hand signals while biking) make communication seamless. Lots of fun even for the difficult to please.

One of the best tours I have ever taken. If you want detailed history about Tokyo and see all the landmarks, I recommend choosing Kazuma. The e-bikes are excellent (easy to use), we did 20km and it only felt like we walked >5,000 steps (you can also turn off the battery for extra exercise 😄). Kazuma came to our hotel and had the bikes ready outside the lobby, was very quick to get the tour started. Thank you Kazuma!!!

We had a fantastic teens family bike tour with Kazuma. So easy to start and end directly from our hotel. The bikes were excellent and easy to ride, with electric assistance too.
We chose to visit the backstreets and local areas of the eastern side of Tokyo. Great quiet little roads, shrines, temples, old houses, coffee and sweet shops all with real local charm handpicked and guided by Kazuma. Lovely cycling back along the parks of the river. We highly recommend this tour as a goodbreak from all the walking and trains and learning more about local life.

We had a fantastic morning seeing the sights. So many highlights! Great vantage points for photos that we would not have discovered on our own - tasting food and riding through less tourist areas was special and getting to see a traditional house was a highlight for all of us - lots of family photos taken for memories - plenty of stops to hydrate and heat was not a concern - Kazuma the guide was fantastic - sharing knowledge and info throughout the tour that helped us appreciate the sights. Amazing way to spend a morning in Tokyo! Kazuma-san was a wonderful guide, perfectly balancing history and information with fascinating stops and great photo spots. He took us to sample local sweets, visit a local Shinto shrine, and check out a traditional fishing village as well as the modern high-rise millionaire housing. Cannot recommend enough!

The best way to start out our trip to Tokyo! Our guide Kazuma was great. He is very familiar with the city and its history, and genuinely enjoys showing visitors around Tokyo. He tailored our route to the places we wanted to visit and made adjustments as we went. We saw not only the major sites but also various neighborhoods and side streets we would never have thought to visit. We had the most amazing tour. The e-bike takes away the issues of exhaustion but still feels like exercise. We went to many of the main attractions around the center of the city and had multiple opportunities to stop and take pictures and discuss the area and history. I highly recommend this tour!

Kazuma NAOI was an outstanding guide from start to finish. He met me at my hotel as was previously arranged with a smile and great energy. After a brief safety review, he outfitted me with a helmet and ensured the bike was adjusted for my comfort. The e-bike itself was in great working condition and operated easily.

The ride itself was ~14 miles and was filled with city views, green space, residential views with city and history knowledge shared along the way.

We had a wonderful tour with Kazuma-San. He sent us messages before our tour and he met us at our hotel. My 11 and 15 year old loved biking through the city. We had 3 days in Tokyo doing many and various trips and Kazuma’s cycling tour, going on a non-touristy route was a definite highlight. From the ancient red-light district to local shopping streets, to a truly authentic coffee shop that we would never have found (best coffee we’ve had in Japan) to the oldest wooden house and back along the river. Felt very safe amid very considerate drivers and learnt stuff about Japanese life that you don’t get in books. Kazuma was all round fantastic.

On our first morning in Japan we had the privilege of spending a day with Kazuma From Tokyo Bike bliss. It was a wonderful introduction to Tokyo and the country. Kazuma was delightful! He treated us to a fun morning full of memorable sites. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, entertaining, and fun! Even before meeting him, we were impressed by Kazuma. His thoroughness and attention to detail even just to arrange meeting up with us was impressive, and it just continued from there. Throughout the tour he thought of everything and more and customize the tour as we went along to meet our interests and needs. . And his follow up afterwards was equally impressive. He sent us a text recap of everything we saw, recommendations for further viewing and shops based on things we had said we were interested in with links and directions attached. I highly highly recommend him as a guide to anyone visiting Tokyo. Also, his bikes that he provides for the tour were adorable and easy to use making navigating around the city a pleasure.

Kazuma contacted us as soon as the booking was made, which was a good touch and a sign of things to come. On the day of our tour Kazuma listened to the sorts of things we wanted to see and places we wanted to go and he adjusted the route to take in our suggestions.

The highlight of the tour for us was visiting a local shrine where Kazuma explained the different parts of the shrine and encouraged us to join in with the rituals and traditions.

After the shrine the focus of our tour moved to the Imperial Palace and, due to the time of the year, the cherry blossom displays.

We felt safe throughout the tour; it surpassed expectations and Kazuma was a great guide. Thank you very much!

It was a great pleasure to zip through Tokyo's streets and alleys on these bicycles. Kazuma told us many interesting things about the city, its history, the country, and its people. It was the perfect way to start our Japan vacation. The service was very warm and professional.

My wife and I did the 3-hour tour with Kazuma this morning. Despite the very hot temperature, we both enjoyed the tour. Kazuma took us to all points described in the itinerary, with adaptations to replace the locations we had already visited. He was prudent, made sure we could cool down in the shade, adapted his pace to ours. He was also excellent as a guide, taking the time to explain the significance of the sights. All in all, an excellent experience that I highly recommend. As a complement, the e-bikes are excellent to handle the hills, especially in the heat!

There are bike tours and there are special bike tours. The private 3 hr e-bike tour with Kazuma was definitely a tour with 5 stars. Kazuma spoke very well English, had very comfortable e-bikes that were easy in use and accessible. Kazuma already adjusted the starting time of the tour because of the heat in Tokyio. So we had an excellent bike tour in the afternoon. Before starting the tour Kazuma asked what our interests were and gave us options. He understood what we were looking for and he showed us spots of Tokyo who are not touched yet by Instagram, influencers or Tik Tok. Instead we saw the more personal side of the city through neighborhood areas, residential corners, instead of polished chains high and profile cafes. In short a more truly taste of Tokyo were we saw a glimpse of the daily rhythm of life instead of the mainstream” highlights. Highly recommand this personal tour.

This e-bike tour is the best way to see Tokyo with a local tour guide. We never felt rushed, but we saw so much of Tokyo. Along the way, we were given many choices for different stops (7-11 or coffee shop for a break). Kazuma provided a nice balance of general history of Tokyo and interesting cultural anecdotes; he also skillfully paced the tour to match our energy level. We also enjoyed the good quality of the pictures Kazuma took during our tour and shared with us as well as the convenience of beginning the tour at our hotel. Both of my well traveled teenage kids agreed that it was an excellent tour - among the best.

Nothing but the most positive experience with Kasuma and Tokyo Bike Bliss. From the moment we booked the tour he texted me to introduce himself and describe the tour and asked me if I had any questions. I booked his tour because of his use of electric bikes, but having him start at our hotel was also a big plus. We did our bike tour on the day we arrived to get out and about with someone who knew the area. Kasuma’s English is very good. Among the best we experienced in Japan. He gave us a choice of 3 different routes and we ultimately picked one and he added some elements of another that we were interested in. Kasuma was all about Safety first and then about having a great time. He took several photos on his DSLR camera that he shared with us after the trip. He also gave us an itinerary of places we visited so we didn’t have to keep track of that. Note that his e-bikes don’t have a separate throttle, which was surprising to me but the electric assist would just kick in when you started to pedal and was completely adequate for our adventure. Kasuma taught us his hand gestures to keep the group together and honestly I never felt overwhelmed in such a big city on a bike. A lot of that was due to my confidence in his ability to keep our group of 4 together. When we would stop at a site that Kasuma wanted us to know about, he had us form a circle around him so that we could all hear what he had to explain. For whatever reason we were still far from our hotel with only 45 minutes in the tour and he gave us an option of taking a train back to our hotel meaning he would have to lock up the bikes and come back to get them himself. However, we opted to try to go at least half way back. When we got half way back my wife was a little tired but wanted to continue back to the hotel which Kasuma gave us as an option even though it would have gone more than our 3 hours. He found a convenience store on our route and told us which energy drink we should buy to give us a little boost to get back. He was always thinking one step ahead! Kasuma was really good about being honest with me when I asked him what his preference was for ending the trip (sometimes one worries about politeness in Japanese culture, but he understands Western culture so we could work past that) and he said that for safety reasons he would call the trip done if he felt that was needed but was happy to extend it a bit to get us all back. Anyway, we all powered back to the hotel with smiles on our faces. Oh and one more thing. I asked for several recommendations even after our trip concluded and he was very generous with his time and answers in pointing me to places to eat and even other experiences (e.g. a sushi-making class which was excellent!). We could not have started our trip in a more positive way! Kasuma is just a very warm and kind person. I hope his business flourishes. Yes, his tour may be slightly more expensive, but I would book it again because he is just such a great guy and great guide. He has also really thought out all aspects of doing a bike tour and is very experienced. You cannot go wrong booking his tour! We are super grateful to him. ❤️

This was an amazing tour. The communication was perfect from start to finish. The bike tour covered the most fantastic parts of Tokyo, both old and new that we would have never been able to see on a walking tour or in a vehicle. This was a tour that we could’ve only seen from the vantage point of a bike. We also had the opportunity to see gardens and parks that we would have never seen any other way!! kazuma put his heart and soul into sharing facts and history about Tokyo all while keeping us perfectly safe. I would absolutely book this again and would recommend highly for anyone wanting a unique view of Tokyo!!!

Again, what an amazing experience - this is our second trip with Kazuma-san (I took my son last year with Kazuma and it was like meeting up with an old friend!). The e-bicycle tour around Tokyo was certainly of our time in Tokyo). The bikes were super easy to ride—even on inclines—and made it possible to cover a lot of ground without feeling exhausted. Kazuma-san is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English (and Japanese). He took us through a great mix of iconic spots and hidden gems: from the bustling streets of Shinjuku to peaceful back alleys and quiet shrines I never would’ve found on my own (and our Embassy to top it off). We even stopped for a delicious local snack along the way. The pace was relaxed, the scenery was fantastic, and the entire tour was well-organized and safe. If you want to see Tokyo from a unique perspective and avoid the typical tourist crowds, I cannot recommend Tokyo Bike Bliss enough. Perfect for solo travellers, couples, or small groups! Kazumi, a talented, thoughtful and proficient English teacher guided the two of us on a personalized e-bike tour across the hidden streets of Tokyo. He arranged to meet us at our hotel, provided top rated comfortable e-bikes and emphasized safety in teaching us to use these well designed bikes. We visited an out of the way, non-touristed, local fish market, enjoyed the freshest sashimi of our lives in an intimate diner where we watched the master chef prepare our meal, visited a largest Tokyo castle grounds and major shrine. Kazumi provided ample history behind each site and as a native of Tokyo, provided insight into the pros and cons of urban development/ including renovation of his childhood home. We could see feel, see and taste this amazing city made quite personal by Kazumi and his careful choice of side streets for our journey. Our prep for the tour had started well ahead while we were still in France planning our trip to Japan. Your early suggestions for the choice of route were spot-on. Also, starting the tour right from our Hotel was great. Your very first remarks before start were about the Safety Guidelines: this is something close to my chest as this is also how I used to behave coming from an Industry that primary focus was Safety FIRST. As for the Tour itself, our experience was just amazing. Visiting Tokyo on a bike and on a (lucky) sunny day was just exceptional. Moving away from the crowds of Shibuya or Shinjuku so as to cycle thru the modern city and business district, to then transition to the older districts of Tokyo was simply smart and offered great contrast. What incredible bike tours of Tokyo!! My wife and I took one tour 1 week ago with Kazuma, and it was so much fun that we immediately signed up for another one he offers in the north of the city. In both tours, Kazuma offered expert guidance and historical explanations of the city, and Japanese culture. He is very engaging and fun to bike with, it was truly some of the best time we've had in Japan. We stopped for coffee both times, enjoyed thoughtful conversations with Kazuma, and saw wide varieties of the life and times of people and places in Tokyo. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a tour, you will not regret it.

We had an amazing time touring Tokyo with Kazuma as our private guide! He picked the two of us up at our hotel and we started our tour there, which was REALLY convenient for us, since we didn't know how to easily get around the city. He found out ahead of time what kind of things we were interested in seeing and doing, and so customized the journey to our likes ahead of time. Kazuma was very knowledgeable about the sights he took us to see, and we were able to learn about the Japanese history and culture first hand from someone who is passionate about sharing the information with others in a way that was fun. The e-bikes were easy to use and felt very safe while riding them. I was first concerned about riding a bike in with Tokyo traffic, but it was really a non-issue at all. So many people use the transit systems, that there isn't the automotive congestion that many cities have. We enjoyed our trip so much that we actually booked another trip that took us out into the countryside! We live quite rural and wanted to see what living in rural Japan was like, too. No problem! Kazuma put together a ride through agricultural areas, along scenic rivers, stopped for lunch in a small town where they have a nice farmers market, saw temples and shrines, and ended up out at Tokyo Bay just prior to dropping off our bikes to head back to our hotel. We enjoyed 2 glorious days with Kazuma as our guide, in and around Tokyo and can't think of any other way that we would've wanted to experience it. Thank you, Kazuma, for the wonderful memories! We will remember them, and you, quite positively for years to come!

This E-Bike Tour was absolutely amazing… and the guide was fantastic! I 100% recommend this tour. As someone who does a bike tour in every place I visit, this was hands down one of the best. When I come back to Tokyo, I will absolutely sign up to take this tour again. Many thanks to my guide who was flexible and accommodated my wish to stop at a chocolate shop. He was simply fabulous, kind, and a joy to spend a couple hours with. But the best part, my guide put safety first and I always felt safe riding the bike. Thank you again for a GREAT tour of Tokyo!

From the initial contact with Kazuma-san through to the end of the bike tour, the personalized service was impeccable. Nothing beats door to door service from/to your hotel. Kazuma-san responded very quickly to a prior day request for two groups of 4pp and 5pp. The e-bikes were extremely easy, comfortable and efficient to use to zip all around Tokyo. He provided a number of interesting facts at various locations and now we understand why there are so few litter bins around Tokyo! We truly enjoyed every single stop with his explanations, and this trip today was even more special with the New Year’s celebrations at the shrines & temples. And we also were lucky to catch one cherry blossom tree! We felt very safe zipping around town as the Japanese people are so courteous and kind to bikers. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting as it’s a fantastic way to see several sights with a private guide. First time in Japan and speak no Japanese other than Thank You (badly). We were staying in Shinjuku and wanted to go around Tokyo on the surface to get a feel for the city and its history which is unfortunately lost when traveling by underground train. I also did not want to get mired in crazy Tokyo traffic sitting on a bus or Taxi. Had a really good previous experience with bike tours in other big cities but not many options for Tokyo until I came across Tokyo Bike Bliss run by Kazuma San. Price seemed reasonable for a 3 hour tour with the bonus that he was offering e-assisted bikes which is a major plus factor in a hilly city like Tokyo. Kazuma San contacted me immediately after the booking was confirmed and starting making logistics arrangements with the Hilton Hotel where we were staying. He also advised due to the season to begin the tour 1/2 hour earlier so that we avoid cycling after dark at the end of the tour together with very practical advise like how to dress and what to bring along. 15 mins before the appointed time, my family was ready and excited just as Kazuma San walked into the lobby. Noting the bike helmets he was holding, there was no way he could have been anyone else. It seems bike touring may not be such a popular thing in Tokyo (yet?). After introductions, wife, son, niece, myself went outside to be fitted to our rides for the afternoon. Kazuma San personally fitted each of us to the e-bikes and gave each of us a test ride on the side walk. Background, I raced BMX as a kid and tabletops are no longer in my future, I can still bunny hop a curb or pull a wheelie if needed so I know my way around bikes. Being out of the scene and no longer knowledgeable about brands and models, I couldn't read the Japanese branded bikes, but I know good bikes from trashed good bikes; from just plain bad bikes. These were meticulously maintained excellent e-bikes. No need to cover the places we hit, it is listed on the website. But what I will say is I have a new appreciation for the recent developments of the Shinjuku reservoir (Whaat? Take the tour to get the answer), The crazy residential housing pricing located on streets so narrow it explains the concept of the kei car, contrasted against the wide open defenses of the paths needed to access the imperial palace, and actually experiencing the ancient topography of the moat around the castle, right alongside the bland flatness of the reclaimed land that all those financial towers are built on in one of the most active earthquake zones in the world. The engineering feats here are on the same level as the dykes sea level control in Holland, just amazing in totality. After more than 4 hours on a 3 hour tour, Kazuma San lead us to the central train station where we went up to an outside viewing deck to enjoy a view of Mount Fuji at sunset golden hour with perfect timing. Troubles? Was expecting navigating traffic to be dangerous/difficult, but like everything else, Japanese drivers were extremely courteous, we had no incidents to report throughout the tour, not once which can't even be said of what happened to us in San Francisco. Everyone obeys the laws and do everything they can to keep everyone safe. Not sure why this is not more popular, might be an asian thing, where 2 wheeling for pleasure is only now becoming a thing, it wasn't that long ago when it was pure necessity, remember:). Beautiful memories with my family and visions are permanently etched into my mind now, but even more so the private conversations we had with Kazuma San along the way felt like we now had a true friend in Japan. This is an amazing tour like no other you will take in Tokyo. A MUST DO. Kazuma took us to many places where tourists don’t normally go and we got to experience a more local feel. The e-bikes make it so easy and enable us to cover a lot of distance without getting tired. We did a 17km tour.

We started at the center of Asakusa and then headed north through small streets, shopping areas, tiny back roads towards the river. We picked up local sweets on the way and sat by the river to enjoy them. Then we had the most pleasant ride back along the river at sunset.

Kazuma shared a lot of Japanese culture with us and tailored the tour to our tastes. My daughter wanted to try Tayaki… he found us a place and made it the first stop. He also arranged for a cooking experience and tea ceremony experience for us! We highly recommend this tour with Kazuma

This was one of the best things we did in Tokyo. We booked a private tour and Kazuma met us at the hotel with the bikes right on time (actually a little early 😉). He explained the rules of the road and gave us an overview where he was thinking of taking us. He speaks English very well. The bikes were e-assist and looked almost brand new. (E-Assist if you are not sure is where you pedal still but the motor kicks in and makes it really easy whether flat or going uphill). We saw a ton of things and Kazuma was polite and extremely informative. At each stop he explained the significance and history of what we were looking at and let us ask questions. He also gave us choices as we rode as to what we wanted to see next and it was great. The following is a list of places we were able to see in three hours:

The bike ride with Kazuma was fantastic in one word! We chose Kazuma because we could start the tour in our own hotel, the trip was exclusive to us, the route could be completely customized to our wishes and because you cycle with e-bikes. Kazuma has exceeded all expectations. He is a great tour guide/host, is super friendly and takes good care of his guests. We cycled through different parts of Tokyo and along the way we made regular stops in which Kazuma tells a lot and takes pictures of everything. The e-bikes make the tour super doable, despite the enormous heat. In the days after the tour Kazuma gave us many other tips for Things to do we visited. No visit to Tokyo is complete without a bike ride with Kazuma!

This bike tour was one of the big highlights of our Tokyo trip for our entire family. Kazuma was our guide and he was AMAZING! He was friendly and funny and so knowledgeable about the streets/traffic patterns, the sights and the history of it all. The day after I booked the tour, Kazuma messaged me to opened up our lines of communication. The day of the tour he went over what we had already seen in Tokyo and he adjusted the route in order to make sure we were seeing the things we truly wanted to see. Safety was his first priority, which I really appreciated as a Mom. And the kids (age 17 & 18) thought the trip was so fun. The convenience of him starting and ending the tour from our hotel was priceless. He even extended the tour because we went on one of the hottest days and I kept stopping for rest and water. He was extremely accommodating. And he took so many wonderful family photos for us throughout. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

This was an excellent bike trip. Kazuma kept in touch from the moment I booked, right through to letting us know he was in the hotels lobby, head of schedule. This allowed him time to go through the safety checks before starting our tour, which gave us the full three hours. The bikes were in excellent condition and easy to ride. Kazuma speaks excellent English, is extremely polite and very courteous. He took us to some nice places and we saw lots of Tokyo city that we would not ordinarily have known about. I highly recommend you book this tour as you will not be disappointed.

Kazumar was an amazing host! We had such a fun filled day exploring Tokyo. He met us at our hotel, and went out over the itinerary. We asked him if we can be dropped off at another place instead of coming back to the hotel and he was able to accommodate! We highlighted some things we wanted to see along with his recommendations and. It turned out amazing! He is very knowledgeable, his English is very good, and most importantly he is such a nice person. I would do the tour again with him when I bring back other family and friends.

This trip was the highlight of our time in Tokyo. My daughter and I were able to see so much in just a few hours. Of note, Tokyo Bike Bliss was the only tour company that picked us up at our hotel. We started and ended our trip at our hotel…very convenient! Kazuma San (“K” ) is amazing! He tailored made the tour per our hotel location and our site preferences. “K” was engaging, fun and educational. We learned a lot about historical and modern day Japan. He knew the best spots for pics and even local family owned shops/bakeries off the beaten path. I could not have asked for a better guide! He was so kind to my daughter and even offered to carry her backpack since it was hot day. Kazuma San is amazing! He tailored made our tour per our hotel location and our site preferences. My gripe – my face hurt from smiling so much! Kazuma (“K”) provided excellent attention to the planning, ride and follow up. I felt safe, had fun and learned a great deal about both Tokyo and Japan. The adventure began when K picked me up in the hotel lobby, with the e-bikes, which he coordinated with the hotel. Once outside, he fit the bike to me, provided a quick safety discussion, offered me choices of experiences which included comfort and skill level, and we were off in no time. Tokyo is crowded and busy yet, K navigated smoothly, gave great signals, and in no time I was relaxed, and thoroughly enjoying myself. At each stop, K offered a description and bit of history of the location. K taught English for many years so I was able to easily understand him. At the end of the ride, he shared pictures he had taken of our trip. I so appreciated this as it allowed me to simply enjoy the sights and be immersed in the experiences. K was open to all my questions and coached me on cultural nuances I was curious about. If you enjoy an immersive way to gain a sense of Tokyo and exercise at the same time…this is a no brainer!

It was our first day in Tokyo so we wanted to explore the area around our hotel and get to know the city. Our guide was very kind and allowed us to choose what we wanted to see. The bikes were very good and they had plenty of battery and were very easy to use. It was as nice an experience as I could have imagined. The guide ( kazuma I believe it was ) was great company and carefully explained Japan traffic rules. He was knowledgeable about different areas and where we could go for great food and shopping as well as beautiful sights and the history of the area. 10/10 would ( and will ) recommend to other friends and family.

Excellent tour, our guide met us at our hotel and escorted us back to the bike store, where we had a safety briefing and bike adjustment. We had a very informative and interesting tour, around the side roads, some main roads and some hidden gem viewpoints! Lots of stops and information, our guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and made our trip very special. We had limited time, due to our cruise ship boarding time being brought forward, but we were so glad we managed to squeeze it in, definitely worth it, we have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

What a great ride we had with Kazuma. First, he was so diligent in contacting us prior to our tour to maximize what we could see during our time. We booked this tour last minute, and Kazuma was great about helping us find a route that took us places we hadn’t seen before given it was one of the last days of a two week trip to Japan. The bikes are light and comfy and easy to ride even up steep hills. Kazuma is lovely, taking great pics, literally bending over backwards to get the shot. He was knowledgeable and took us to interesting places – gorgeous cherry blossoms at Aoyama, Shibuya Scramble (walking the bikes), the Olympic Stadium, the imperial Palace Gardens, and a host of other areas. It was a highlight of the trip for me.

Great tour. Kaz was a superb guide, asked what we wanted to see, and away we went. The bikes were great to ride – the motor (while making the bike a bit heavier) made pedaling a breeze. We stopped at a few spots to take photo’s, Kaz told us lots about the city & where we were. He was so accommodating – met us at our hotel, got us set up on the bikes, took many of the quieter streets, found great places and even showed us where to get some interesting sweet treats! Very flexible on returning to the hotel – Kaz took care of everything and all we had to do was enjoy! Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful way to see some of Tokyo. We really enjoyed it. Kazuma was friendly, full of knowledge and kept it fun and interesting. We would highly recommend you give this a spin! And we are going home with some special soy sauce from a little shop that we stopped at for a tasting of their fabulous soy sauces and some exceptional flavours of crispy fresh rice snacks purchased from a generational shop. Perfect bike tour of Tokyo! Kazuma is a FANTASTIC tour guide - very knowledgeable and friendly, and very attentive to bicycle safety for all of us. We had a wonderful first morning in Japan with Kazuma. He came to our hotel and adjusted each bike to fit us. Then we went on a three hour tour. K was informative, patient, careful and an excellent conversationalist. He took many photos of our group and sent them after the trip. Perfection.

Very fun and educational tour through a large part of Tokyo. Kazuma will pick you up from the hotel with bicycles and then you can choose which tour appeals to you the most. We have seen and learned a lot. Kazuma tells a lot of fun facts. Nice coffee stop on the way and the tour ends at the hotel again. Electric bikes are also top! In addition, Kazuma had more good tips for Tokyo.

A brilliant way to get a gilpse of Tokyo, off the usual beaten track ... Of course the garden, Shibarikyu made my mouth drop open in surprise! And also the view close up of the Rainbow Bridge, the BEST scone ever (and i eat a lot of scones) at Kaido .... and your amazing kindness and knowledge, thank you!

This is a superb private bike tour. We went from shinjuku to Shibuya. It is safe and easy and Kazuma showed us a whole series of places we would never have seen by ourselves. He is a very kind and interesting man and will keep you safe on the road.

The tour with Kazuma was great! He personnalised the tour to visit spots we haven’t seen and hidden gems such as an old traditional house and garden. Kazuma was very informative and explained all the different areas we biked through. Kazuma was super flexible, planning an itinerary for us with less than 24 hours notice, planning a route that would get us to the ideal ending location on the way to our next tour, as well as handing impromptu requests to get some snacks when we were hungry (he took us a great Japanese sweets spot). He was super knowledgeable, proving lots of details at each trip and able to answer all my many questions! And best of all, he was very kind and concerned about our safety.

Our family enjoyed the hotel door-to-door service we received. Starting from our hotel in Shibuya, we e-biked approximately 13 miles, stopped at places such as the Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace, and even a small, local neighborhood bakery, without breaking a sweat! Kazuma-san was awesome…so thoughtful and caring. We’d highly recommend him!

Kazuma is very knowledgeable and speaks English well, which was a huge plus since we don’t speak any Japanese. Had great suggestions for local businesses as well. Took us to great spots for pictures and great views of the city that weren’t crowded. Also, the bikes are very nice. We went the whole 3 hours and never felt tired even when the terrain was hilly.

Kazuma was very helpful in helping us create the itinerary and very concerned with how we could make the cycling trip enjoyable for our children (10 and 13 years old). K with Tokyo Bike Bliss was an amazing tour guide and just for our three hour E-bike tour. He communicated effectively before our trip and was waiting in our hotel morning on the day of our tour. He asked what else we had planned in Tokyo so he could customize our tour. His English was perfect and he was so knowledgeable about the area. We always felt safe on the bike and we loved being able to see so much of Tokyo on a Boeing day. 10/10. Would highly recommend and would book again.

We were shown around Shinjuku and Shibuya on electric-assist bicycles for three hours. First of all, I was happy that the tour started and ended at the hotel where we were staying. And it was clear that the route we were shown had been thoroughly researched, and it was a very fulfilling tour. Next time, I’d like to try a different route.

I don’t usually cycle through the city center, so I was a little worried, but with an electric bicycle, a friendly guide, and good weather, it was the best cycling experience ☺︎ The guide’s pace, suggestions of places to see, and gentle narration made me feel at ease when cycling. I was able to experience the ever-changing scenery of the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Akihabara, and Asakusa from a unique perspective on a bicycle, and I also became interested in the history of the city. A very well organised cycle tour with K. Lots of information beforehand and the tour was tailored exactly to for me. A last minute addition with a friend wishing to join and this was no problem for K and he immediately got in touch with them and confirmed everything. A great 3 hours flew past with a straightforward route which was suitable for anybody and we saw so many really interesting sites. Lots of stops and photo opportunities. I would highly recommend this trip.

Fantastic e-bike tour, K is very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the Tokyo history and the Japanese culture in general, very interesting. The e-bikes were very good quality, K is a great ride leader, he is very safe and super friendly ! We rode small streets following the underwater rivers, very little tourists know about that !!! It was a great decision to take this bike tour. For 3 hours we visited and heard much more than for the whole week before it in Tokio. So we took the second tour to the other part of the city for the next day. Electronic bikes are very easy to ride. Highly recommend you to try this activity with Mr. Kazuma. I thought I knew enough about Tokyo, but I realized there are still things I don’t know. It’s a wonderful mini-velo tour where you can have unknown experiences. Not only was my intellectual curiosity satisfied, but I also enjoyed snacks along the way, took photos with the magnificent view of the Skytree in the background, and had a fulfilling three hours.

Highly recomend this tour. These e-bikes were an easy, fun, and unique way to see Tokyo. Kazuma was a great guide. Informative, helpful and super nice. He adapted the tour based upon our preferences. If you are looking for a lifelong memory in Tokyo, this is it.

Our bike tour with Kazuma-san was amazing! We learned so much and saw parts of Tokyo that I haven’t visited in my 2 years as a resident. It was an especially beautiful tour by the river because we enjoyed a day of peak Sakura blossoms.

Kazuma was a wonderful guide- informative, friendly, patient and safety conscious. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our trip around Shinjuku and shibuya on our first day in Tokyo. This is such a cool way to cover some distance but be able to stop along the way.

Great tour guide. Kazuma met us at our hotel, and from the start was just perfect, knowledgeable, friendly and gave us great insight into a part of the city we would never have discovered on our own. The bikes were awesome, easy to ride. Would highly recommend.

Was good. Charming host/owner. Was highly consultative on where we wanted to go / avoid. Not cheap though (most expensive 3 hour bike ride you’ll do) - if / when the yen strengthens the cost will definitely have to be reduced.

Super. Hij gaf ons 2 opties: de standaard touristentour, of buiten de gebaande paden. Wij kozen voor het laatste en was heel bijzonder. Hij vertelt veel interessante en leuke feitjes we besloten om direct de andere tour ook bij hem te boeken.
